Q&A

QCan I divide up my luggage before dropping them off for delivery?

A

Of course you can.
However, your luggage is accepted at our counters located at airports or train stations, or at our Sales Offices located downtown, which means there is will not enough space to open and organize your suitcase. Therefore, please divide up your luggage in advance to ensure the process goes smoothly.

QWhere can I send my luggage from? Can I also specify when my luggage will be delivered?

A

Luggage can be sent from hotels and facilities as long as they are registered with Yamato Transport. Please enquire at the hotel or facility for more information.
If the hotel or facility is not registered to use our service, please refer to the link below. (In Japanese only)

Unfortunately, we cannot specify delivery times to airports or accommodation providers such as hotels.

QWill my luggage be delivered to the specified hotel on the same day?

Same-day delivery services are available depending on the area. For more information, please refer to the link below.

QCan I use the service even if I do not speak Japanese?

We have counters which provide services in English and Chinese.

QCan I send large items such as bicycles?

A

Depending on the airport, you may be able to send bicycles that are packed in hard cases, boxes or large pre-packaged luggage. Please refer to the YAMATO-BIN page for size limits and other details.

Note: We may not be able to send large items depending on the accommodation you will be staying at. Please confirm with your accommodation provider in advance. Please contact Yamato Home Convenience for items which require packing.
